About the Role Byblos Bank Europe is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Information Security / SOC Intern to join the Information Security team. This internship is ideal for students or recent graduates who are passionate about cybersecurity and would like to gain hands-on experience in a banking and enterprise environment. The intern will support the Security Operations Center (SOC) and Information Security team in daily cybersecurity operations, monitoring, reporting, and security improvement activities. Main Responsibilities Assist in monitoring security alerts and events Support the SOC team in investigating suspicious activities Help review phishing emails and security incidents Assist with vulnerability management and security reporting Participate in log monitoring and security dashboard reviews Support endpoint security and compliance checks Help maintain cybersecurity documentation and procedures Assist with user awareness and security communication activities Support security projects and operational tasks when needed Requirements Currently studying or recently graduated in: Cybersecurity Information Technology Computer Science Network Engineering Or related field Basic understanding of: Networking Windows and Linux systems Cybersecurity concepts Interest in SOC operations and threat monitoring Motivated to learn and work in a professional environment Good communication and teamwork skills Fluent in English (French is a plus) Nice to Have Knowledge of SIEM solutions Familiarity with Microsoft Security tools Understanding of phishing, malware, or cyber threats Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Python, Bash) What the Intern Will Gain Hands-on cybersecurity experience in the banking sector Exposure to real SOC operations and security tools Experience with enterprise security technologies Mentorship from experienced cybersecurity professionals Opportunity to work on real security projects Internship Details Location: Brussels Department: Information Security / SOC Internship Type: Full-time Internship Le profil idéal est une personne motivée, rigoureuse et passionnée par la cybersécurité, disposant d’une base technique solide et d’un intérêt marqué pour les opérations SOC.
