Your Profile & DNA:
We are seeking an experienced Kubernetes & Cloud Platform Engineer to manage and support Kubernetes production environments, ensuring platform stability, scalability, and performance.
Roles & Responsibilities
* Manage and support Kubernetes production environments, ensuring platform stability, scalability, and performance.
* Perform cluster upgrades, patching, troubleshooting, and operational maintenance activities.
* Design and maintain Kubernetes infrastructure using Rancher RKE2 and AWS cloud services.
* Implement monitoring, alerting, and incident response processes to ensure high availability.
* Collaborate with development, DevOps, and security teams to improve CI/CD and platform reliability.
* Develop and maintain automation scripts, infrastructure templates, and operational documentation.
* Support security, compliance, and governance initiatives across Kubernetes and cloud environments.
Qualification & Experience
* A Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent.
* Strong experience in Kubernetes production operations, including cluster management, upgrades, patching, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
* Hands-on expertise with Rancher RKE2 for Kubernetes provisioning, lifecycle management, and day-to-day operations.
* Good knowledge of AWS cloud services including IAM, VPC, EC2, EKS, Load Balancers, Route 53, and CloudWatch.
* Strong Linux administration skills with experience in networking, storage, system security hardening, and scripting/automation.
* Solid understanding of Kubernetes and cloud networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, TLS/Certificates, ingress, load balancing, routing, and firewalls.
* Experience in monitoring and incident management, including observability (metrics, logs, alerts), incident response, and root-cause analysis.
* Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control tools such as GitHub and GitHub Actions.
* Ability to create and maintain technical documentation including architecture documents, runbooks, SOPs, and onboarding guides.
* Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation tools such as Terraform, Crossplane, and Puppet.
* Knowledge of GitOps and Kubernetes delivery tools including Argo CD, Flux, Fleet, Helm, and Kustomize.
* Familiarity with security and compliance tooling such as image scanning, OPA/Gatekeeper, Kyverno, and secrets management solutions.
* Understanding of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices including SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, and post-incident reviews.

* CKS (Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist)
