Role Overview
We're looking for a strategic, creative, and data-driven communications leader to own the Corporate narrative in Brazil. Amplify and protect Amazon's reputation as a force for good, fostering country development through sustained campaigns that earn trust, shape perception, and demonstrate real impact across communities, employees, and the country.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute integrated corporate communications strategies positioning Amazon as a responsible and constructive corporate citizen and driver of Brazil's social, economic, and technology development, transforming data into compelling narratives that resonate across multiple audiences.
* Serve as strategic counsel on issues management, providing rapid-response guidance to leaders and coordinating cross‑functional communications.
* Develop measurement frameworks demonstrating quantifiable impact on reputation, brand perception, and share of voice among opinion leaders.
* Lead internal corporate communications strategy for corporate employees, transforming the workforce into informed, engaged brand ambassadors through integrated channels and cultural moments.
A Day in the Life
Start the day by reading the landscape—tracking media narratives, social sentiment, policy developments, and emerging issue signals—to stay ahead of what matters to Amazon's corporate reputation in Brazil. Then move into strategic planning with business partners on upcoming narratives and campaign development, finalise messaging for an economic impact report, brief a senior leader ahead of a press interview, align with Public Policy on several topics, or greenlight internal content that connects employees to Amazon's broader purpose.
Stakeholders span Brazil business teams and international communications leaders across the globe.
