Backend/Integration Developer
In this role you will: (responsibilities)
* Design and develop cloud‑ready and hybrid integration solutions using IBM App Connect/ACE.
* Build and expose RESTful APIs, event‑driven services, and asynchronous integrations aligned to enterprise architecture standards.
* Implement modern integration patterns including API‑led connectivity, event streaming, pub/sub, and request‑reply.
* Develop integrations that are secure, scalable, resilient, and observable in cloud and on‑premise environments.
* Work closely with architects to evolve integration standards and support cloud adoption and modernization initiatives.
* Integrate enterprise systems using messaging, APIs, file transfer, and streaming technologies.
* Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, and infrastructure‑aware operations.
* Support non‑functional requirements including performance, high availability, disaster recovery, and security.
* Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Cloud, DevOps, Security, QA, Product, and Business).
* Participate in troubleshooting, production support, and continuous improvement of integration platforms.
* Provide technical guidance and promote best practices across the integration community.
* Contribute to knowledge sharing, documentation, and adoption of integration best practices across the organization.
Mandatory Skills
* Advanced English
* Strong hands‑on experience with IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) / IBM Integration Bus (IIB)
* ESQL, DFDL, REST & SOAP APIs, JSON, XML, XSLT, IBM MQ, JMS, HTTP/S
* Deep understanding of enterprise and cloud integration patterns
* Experience designing integrations for high availability, scalability, and fault tolerance
* Working knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS)
* Experience building or consuming cloud‑native services and APIs
* Programming experience in Java, including scripting and automation
* Familiarity with Git‑based version control and collaborative development workflows
* IBM IIB / ACE certifications
* Experience with MuleSoft or ETL or data integration tools (e.g., Informatica)
* Unix/Linux and shell scripting
* Experience supporting global, large‑scale enterprise platforms
