You'll ensure guest rooms and public areas are spotless, safe, and welcoming. The role combines daily cleaning, periodic deep-cleaning, and quick-turn service to brand standards.
Key responsibilities
* Clean and reset guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and public areas to SOP standards.
* Replenish amenities, linen, and guest supplies; report low stock.
* Handle laundry: sorting, washing, drying, pressing, folding (as applicable).
* Perform periodic deep-clean tasks (carpets, grout, descaling, windows, fixtures).
* Report maintenance issues (lights, HVAC, plumbing) via the ticketing system.
* Adhere to hygiene, chemical handling, and safety protocols (HACCP where relevant).
* Support breakfast activities if needed
* Keep storerooms tidy; conduct basic inventory counts.
* Maintain guest privacy and lost-and-found procedures.
Skills & requirements
* Experience in housekeeping (hotel, serviced apartments, or similar) preferred.
* Strong eye for detail, time management, and consistency.
* Physical ability for lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
* Basic English (or NL) for team communication; reliability and discretion.
* Familiarity with cleaning equipment and safe chemical use.
