AI Capability & Integration Specialist
Role Purpose
We are seeking an AI Capability & Integration Specialist to accelerate the responsible, practical, and business-focused adoption of AI across AstraZeneca Belux. This role will identify high-value local use cases, turn business needs into clear implementation roadmaps, and support adoption across functions. Working closely with local teams, global stakeholders, IT, compliance, and external partners, the role will help ensure AI initiatives are aligned with business priorities, delivered compliantly, and embedded in day-to-day ways of working.
Key Responsibilities
1. Assess and prioritize local AI use cases with clear business impact
2. Develop implementation roadmaps for prioritized initiatives
3. Support rollout of AI solutions across functions and stakeholder groups
4. Drive cross-functional alignment across business, technical, and governance teams
5. Enable adoption of AstraZeneca-approved AI tools through communication, training, and user support
6. Contribute to AI capability building through guidance and awareness activities
7. Maintain compliance alignment across all AI-related initiatives
8. Track progress and continuous improvement of AI adoption efforts
Required Skills and Experience
9. Experience in AI, digital transformation, automation, innovation, or process improvement, ideally in a regulated environment
10. Proven ability to identify business improvement opportunities and translate them into practical solutions
11. Strong understanding of AI and generative AI, including where these technologies can realistically add value
12. Experience building implementation plans or transformation roadmaps
13. Strong stakeholder management, communication, presentation, and collaboration skills
14. Experience supporting change management, adoption, training, or capability building
15. Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and enterprise workflow automation tools or similar AI-enabled platforms is preferred
16. Deep hands-on coding or engineering experience is not required
Qualifications
17. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data/AI, Business, Life Sciences, or a related field
18. Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in AI, digital, automation, transformation, innovation, or process improvement roles
19. Fluency in English required; Dutch or French is a plus
