Based in Brussels and covering both the Belgian and Luxembourg offices, the HR Officer plays a central role in supporting the full HR lifecycle. Reporting to the HR Manager based in Luxembourg, this position offers a high level of autonomy and ownership across both locations.
As HR Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth HR operations, maintaining compliance, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
- HR Operations Manage the day-to-day HR activities across both offices, including recruitment coordination, onboarding, learning & development, and employee lifecycle support.
- HR Administration & Compliance Ensure accurate maintenance of personnel files, contracts, and legal documentation in line with local employment legislation.
- HR Systems Management Oversee data accuracy and reporting within the HRIS, ensuring reliable and up-to-date employee information.
- Compensation & Benefits Support the administration of salary review processes and benefits schemes, ensuring alignment with internal policies and local regulations.
- Talent Support (Trainees & Secondments) Coordinate and monitor the integration of trainees and secondees, ensuring a smooth and positive experience.
- Operational & Administrative Coordination Manage HR-related administrative processes independently, including supplier coordination, invoicing follow-up, and procurement tasks.
- Process Ownership & Documentation Develop, standardise, and maintain HR processes and procedures to ensure consistency across both locations.
- Continuous Improvement Contribute to the evolution of HR practices, enhancing efficiency and employee experience.
* Master's degree in Human Resources, Law, or a related field
* Approximately 3-5 years of experience in a generalist HR position, ideally within a professional services environment or Law firm.
* Strong knowledge of Belgian labour law; familiarity with Luxembourg or sector-specific regulations is a plus
* Comfortable using HRIS tools and Microsoft Office
* Excellent communication skills in English and French; Dutch is considered an asset
* Ability to work autonomously, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to a dynamic environment
* High level of discretion, professionalism, and attention to detail
* Permanent contract of undefined duration
* Gross annual salary between € 60,000 and € 68,000
