The successful candidate for this role will speak Portuguese, and bring a growth mindset. This means excellent attention to detail, above-ordinary writing skills, and the ability to recognize trends, think strategically, correctly prioritize workflows and take initiative.
The majority of our team are based in Seattle, WA. However, this role is remote.
Note: Only candidates with fluency in Portuguese will be considered.
Responsibilities
* Be able to efficiently develop and demonstrate a thorough understanding of relevant disease states, competitive landscapes, market dynamics and regulatory and commercialization pathways (global)
* Conduct desk research and derive meaningful insights
* Exchange complex medical & scientific information with physicians, scientists and C-suite executives with accuracy and confidence
* Triangulate across complex data sources to identify trends, and develop defensible takeaways, clearly mapped to primary sources
* Distill medical and scientific data into insights and actionable reports that are client-ready, and be adept at presenting these directly to clients
* Continuously monitor emerging data to identify impactful events and client knowledge gaps; review scientific journals, attend scientific and technical meetings
* Foster and grow projects by always thinking ahead to the next question
* Take ownership in ensuring that projects are run in a “best-in-class” manner (proactive, communicative, efficient)
* Follow all external and internal standards to ensure legal and ethical intelligence gathering
* Mentor and develop other team members

Qualifications
* Passion for finding and learning complex information quickly
* Passion for professional growth and efficiency
* High attention to detail, accuracy and deadlines

* Ability to interpret and synthesize scientific data (pre-clinical and clinical) and identify broad implications or specific opportunities
* Ability to prioritize workflows proactively
* Ability to communicate complex scientific information effectively and build strong relationships with key stakeholders

* Intellectual agility and resilience
* Critical thinker
* PhD in the life sciences with a minimum of 3 to 5 years of professional commercial planning experience, either at a biotech or pharma company or in a previous healthcare-focused consulting capacity
* Candidates without prior industry experience but with a track record for mastering complex subject matter quickly and excellent writing skills are encouraged to apply
