Our client, a leader in its sector, is actively seeking immediate support within its Corporate Development / M&A team. The role will provide hands-on exposure to the full deal lifecycle, from origination to execution and integration, in a fast-paced in-house environment.Key ResponsibilitiesConducted financial and strategic analysis of target companies (DCF, LBO, trading comparables, precedent transactions) to assess valuation and investment attractiveness in M&A processesSupported the preparation of investment materials and presentations for senior management, structuring strategic rationales and highlighting value creation opportunities and potential synergiesAssisted in the execution of both buy-side and sell-side transactions, including data room management, coordination of due diligence processes, and liaison with advisors (lawyers, auditors, consultants)Built and updated complex financial models, including integrated business plans, sensitivity analyses, and scenario modeling for valuation and post-deal synergiesContributed to transaction execution through to closing, supporting negotiations and the preparation of key legal documentation (LOI, SPA, and related materials)Conducted sector research, market mapping, and deal sourcing activities, producing concise investment notes and strategic recommendations for internal stakeholdersProfileApproximately 20 years of experience in Mergers & Acquisitions, Corporate Development, Private Equity, or a related strategic finance environmentDemonstrated expertise in leading and executing complex domestic and cross-border transactions from origination through closingStrong technical skills in valuation, financial modeling, due diligence, transaction structuring, and negotiationsProven ability to operate autonomously, manage multiple stakeholders, and provide immediate value in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication and presentation skills, with experience interacting with executive leadership and board-level stakeholdersFluent in English ; French is an asset.
