We are seeking a Financial Controller to join the finance team of our client in the industrial sector. Based around Antwerp, you will play a pivotal role in supporting financial performance, ensuring reporting accuracy, and partnering closely with operational and creative teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Financial Planning & Controlling
* Provide strategic advice to Senior Management on compensation & benefits decisions, leveraging driver-based models, macroeconomic trends, and KPIs.
* Drive end-to-end budgeting, forecasting, and performance monitoring across all compensation & benefits areas.
* Oversee full P&L and Balance Sheet controlling, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with organizational objectives.
* Deliver insights-driven analyses to optimize spending, enhance efficiency, and support leadership decisions.
* Prepare executive-level reports and presentations for senior leadership and board meetings.
* Collaborate with Business, Finance, HR, and Procurement teams to maintain cost control and performance alignment.
* Manage interactions with external auditors on compensation & benefits matters.
Strategic & Digital Support
* Partner with Finance Leadership to address critical business challenges and guide decision-making.
* Proactively contribute to key projects, including process optimization, ERP implementations, and organizational initiatives.
* Develop, maintain, and enhance advanced financial digital tools, with Power BI as a central component for reporting and analysis.
* Promote a data-driven culture to support operational excellence and informed decision-making
Your Profile
* Trilingual (French, Dutch, English) to communicate effectively across all teams.
* Solid experience (5-10years) in Financial Controlling, FP&A, or related functions; Big 4 experience is highly desirable.
* Strong expertise in Power BI and other advanced financial digital tools.
* Analytical, proactive, and capable of delivering actionable insights to senior management.
