A Japanese IT company in Belgium is currently recruiting for an IT Consultant / Project Manager.In this role, you will be responsible for leading the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects within scope, budget, and timeline constraints.The ideal candidate should have strong IT project management skills as well as excellent communication abilities.Business level fluency in Japanese is essential.TYPE: Permanent, full-timeWORKING HOURS: 9:00-17:00 from Monday to FridaySALARY: €60-65k, depending on experienceSTART: ASAPLOCATION: Brussels, Belgium (Hybrid working available)VISA: The company can provide visa support for the right candidateJapanese Speaking IT Consultant Main Responsibilities:Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects within scope, budget, and timeline constraintsDefine project objectives, scope, deliverables, timelines, and budget in collaboration with stakeholdersAllocate project resources and monitor resource utilizationIdentify, assess, and manage project risks and issuesOversee project execution and ensure that project tasks are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standardsManage relationships with project stakeholders and communicate project status, progress, and issues to stakeholdersEnsure project deliverables are completed, accepted, and signed off by stakeholdersConduct post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and best practices and apply them to future projectsDevelop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, and communicate updates and changesSupport pre-sales coordination where required by Customer Success (Sales/Presales)Visualize coordination activities, including but not limited to expectations, steps and milestones, planned schedule and actual progressEstablish cadence and report visualization to lead/opportunity stakeholdersSupport Customer Success in visualizing elements for project proposals, including but not limited to project objectives, scope, deliverables, timelines, and budgeting as neededResolve issues and conflicts that arise during project executionEnsure to follow clear Change Management flow to steer and control the required ChangeEnsure a smooth handover to Operations/Maintenance responsible party or handover to CustomerPerform PMO role when requiredJapanese Speaking IT Consultant Ideal Candidate:Business level fluency in English and Japanese (verbal and written)More than 3 years of IT Consultant or Project Manager experience is requiredStrong ability in information research and documentation/archivingGood people skills — able to express and support technical issues and requirements to non-technical peopleWillingness to work over-time and/or travel to outside location when necessaryUnderstanding of large Japanese corporate environment and culture is a plusAll applicants for the Assurance Project Manager must have the right to work in the country as the Company is not able to offer visa support.We regret that we cannot accept applications from Working holiday visa, Graduate or Student visa holders.
