About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Cloud Native Platform Engineer to strengthen a DevOps team responsible for the continuous evolution, automation, and optimization of a modern application and platform landscape.
You will play a key role in designing, implementing, and managing cloud-native platforms and software delivery processes. The focus of this position is on automation, container orchestration, CI/CD pipelines, observability, and improving the reliability, security, and scalability of mission-critical applications.
As a senior technical expert, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, contribute to architectural decisions, promote knowledge sharing, and drive continuous improvement through DevOps best practices.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, implement, and maintain cloud-native platform solutions.
* Automate infrastructure and application delivery pipelines.
* Build and optimize CI/CD processes using GitHub Actions.
* Manage and support Kubernetes-based production environments.
* Improve platform observability, monitoring, and performance.
* Contribute to architecture discussions and technical decision-making.
* Support the reliability, scalability, and security of critical applications.
* Collaborate closely with development and operations teams to foster a DevOps culture.
* Drive innovation and continuous improvement across platform engineering practices.
Required Skills & Experience
Must-Have
* Minimum 5 years of experience with cloud-native platforms or similar technologies.
* At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
* Proven experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CD automation.
* Strong experience managing Kubernetes in production environments.
* Solid knowledge of Grafana for monitoring and observability.
* Fluent Dutch language skills (CEFR C2 level).
Preferred Skills
* Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
* Knowledge of Docker and containerization technologies.
* Experience with Prometheus for metrics collection and monitoring.
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
