As Chief Officer on board a jack‑up vessel, you are in charge of the navigation team during a 12‑hour watch under supervision of the captain. You serve as the captain’s right‑hand person and act as his or her substitute in their absence. You are responsible for safe and efficient jacking operations and deck management.

As a Project Engineer you will be involved in marine infrastructure/civil projects such as port and harbor constructions, immersed tunnels, tunneling, and foundation works that complement DEME’s activities. You will also play a key role in the preparation and execution of offshore projects. You will collaborate with employees of all nationalities and disciplines and may work on board of vessels, at the project site, or in one of our offices.
