General information: - Start date: ASAP - Duration: 12 months renewable - Workload: full time (2 days on site 3 days remote) - Work location: Brussels area, Belgium Description: The Communication & Content Technologies department provides transversal, digital services to our various businesses, supporting both incoming and outgoing document flows. We are responsible for: • Generating communications and documents, • Sending these to customers and our partners, either via paper or electronically • Archiving both incoming and outgoing communications, • Orchestrating through automated processes, • Testing, following up and supporting our services. As an experienced Architect, you play a key role in shaping, evolving, and safeguarding the solution architecture within a complex IT landscape. Working closely with business and IT stakeholders, you ensure coherent, scalable, and sustainable solutions aligned with enterprise strategy and standards. • Analyze and challenge business requirements, translating them into end-to-end architectural solutions. • Assess impacts on the existing architecture and define target evolutions aligned with strategy and standards. • Define and document functional flows, system interactions, and business rules (UML, architecture diagrams). • Collaborate with project leaders, technical architects, and development teams to ensure feasibility and consistency. • Ensure architectural quality, long-term sustainability, and coherence across transversal initiatives. • Anticipate risks, identify dependencies, and contribute to project and architectural roadmaps. • Actively contribute to architectural alignment and knowledge sharing across teams and Stakeholders Profile: • L anguage: English fluent French fluent OR Dutch fluent • Min. 5 years of professional experience • Solid and proven experience as a Functional and/or Solution Architect in complex IT environments, with a strong track record in end ‑ to ‑ end solution design. • In ‑ depth knowledge of modern architecture principles and patterns (DDD, API ‑ based architectures, orchestration, BPM). • Strong expertise in integration architectures (REST APIs, asynchronous messaging, event ‑ driven architectures). • Proven ability to model and document architectures and processes using UML and Enterprise Architecture tools (ArchiMate is a plus). • Experience with cloud architectures, ideally on Microsoft Azure, including an understanding of constraints and trade ‑ offs. • Comfortable operating in large, transversal contexts with multiple stakeholders, dependencies, and legacy systems. • Autonomous • Accountable • Collaborative • Excellent communication skills • Ability to bridge business and IT and influence architectural decisions
