About This Opportunity:
Pacific International has been retained by an industrial electrification business with presence across the US and a growing footprint in Europe. This business is looking to bring aboard a hands-on Applications Engineering Manager to oversee and drive commercial growth across Spain and Europe.
Based in Madrid, the right candidate will have a strong track record in the engineering, energy, power or industrial sector with a broad range of experience to take the business to the next level. You will have hands-on field experience with industrial process equipment, alongside customer-facing experience. You will be working independently with the chance to grow into managing a small team across other European countries.
Key Responsibilities:
* Owning end-to-end technical work
* Acting as the senior technical point of contact
* Coordinate directly with external project partners
* Support execution and installation of early European systems
* Provide Build out training plans for ESCO partners
* Lay framework for the future European team
Candidate profile:
* Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, chemical engineering or a related technical field.
* 7-10 years’ experience in Application Engineering, Process Engineering, Project Engineering or a related technical field within energy, power, or industrial sector.
* Experience understanding technical challenges in the industry
* Proven broad range of experience across 2-3 different industry processes
* Hands-on experience with industrial process equipment
* Customer-facing experience
* Must speak fluent English and Spanish
* Location: Based in Spain, must be able to come to Madrid every two weeks
