Senior Presales Engineer

As a Presales Engineer within our Meeting Experience Business Unit (ClickShare), you play a key role in supporting both internal sales teams and partner sales teams (distributors, resellers, and consultants). Leveraging your technical expertise, strong account management skills, sales mindset, and customer-first approach, you contribute directly to achieving business targets.
You are able to both take direction and provide guidance, working closely with sales colleagues to drive opportunities forward. Based in Belgium, you are also open to traveling internationally to support presales activities across different regions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Build strong technical knowledge of the ClickShare product portfolio and stay up to date with product developments.
2. Provide pre-sales technical support, including product education, demonstrations, and assistance in the preparation of tender documents for both Barco and partner sales teams.
3. Act as a trusted advisor to customers by supporting them on technical matters, particularly for key accounts and prospective clients.
4. Develop, manage, and execute support contracts in line with customer needs.
5. Collaborate closely with Barco and partner sales teams to identify, plan, and drive sales opportunities.
6. Manage customer relationships proactively by gathering, tracking, and sharing customer feedback.
7. Analyze and interpret customer requirements, and work in close collaboration with Product Management to define the most suitable solutions.
8. Identify opportunities to improve customer satisfaction and drive repeat business, and communicate insights, challenges, and proposed solutions to internal stakeholders and management.
9. Participate in and support the organization of trade shows, customer events, meetings, and training sessions as required.

10. Strong relationship and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain trust at all levels.
11. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
12. Fluent in English, French, and Flemish.
13. Self-driven, proactive, and able to work autonomously while taking initiative.
Results & execution
14. Naturally curious about technology, with a strong affinity for technical applications.
15. Able to translate complex technical concepts into clear and user-friendly language.
16. Solid understanding of customer service principles and techniques, with the ability to analyze and interpret customer requirements, identify issues, and propose appropriate solutions and action plans.
17. Experience with Salesforce CRM is a plus.
18. Proficient in the MS Office Suite, with a strong focus on Excel and PowerPoint.
