Welcome to the dynamic world of Yusen Logistics! The newly created key role offers a unique opportunity to strategically shape Payroll as well as Compensation & Benefits across Cluster North (Europe). Your focus will be on assessing, evaluating, and further developing existing structures, while driving harmonization of processes and programs across different countries. To succeed in this role, you bring strong expertise in payroll and labor law—ideally within a Benelux/DACH/European region—combined with the ability to translate complex, cross‑country requirements into sustainable and scalable solutions.

Responsibilities
Overall accountability for accurate, timely, and compliant payroll operations across Cluster North
Lead and develop international payroll teams and manage external payroll providers
Ensure compliance with labor, tax, and social security regulations across multiple countries
Design and implement Compensation & Benefits strategies aligned with business objectives and market standards
Develop and maintain competitive salary structures, incentive schemes, and benefits programs
Conduct market benchmarking and support leadership in compensation‑related decision‑making
Lead HR projects (e.g., system implementations, process improvements, harmonization initiatives)
Deliver reporting, KPIs, and ensure audit readiness and compliance standards
Qualifications
Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
Extensive experience (approx. 10+ years) in HR with a focus on payroll and Compensation & Benefits
Proven leadership experience, ideally within an international matrix organization
Strong knowledge of labor, tax, and social security legislation across Europe
Experience with payroll systems, HRIS, and reporting tools
Strong analytical skills with the ability to design and evaluate compensation frameworks
Solid project management experience in cross‑country environments
Fluency in English and strong intercultural communication skills
