At Ismar Healthcare, we are looking for a Disease Area Lead with ambition to grow into a Project Manager role to strengthen our growing team.
About the role
As a Disease Area Lead, you will play a key role in the development of high-quality medical communication and continuing medical education (CME) initiatives for international healthcare professionals, in close collaboration with key opinion leaders, and supported by international pharmaceutical clients.
You will contribute to a wide range of international projects, including:
• Scientific manuscripts and publications
• Congress presentations and reports
• Infographics and educational materials
• Advisory boards and expert meetings
• Industry-sponsored symposia
• Webinars and CME programmes
During your transition to Project Manager, you will take increasingly more leadership in project execution from concept to delivery, combining scientific expertise with strong stakeholder management and project leadership skills.
Due the highly international nature of the role, occasional travel to congresses and meetings is part of the position.

Scientific leadership
• Build expertise across multiple disease areas
• Develop impactful scientific and educational content for healthcare professionals
Stakeholder engagement
• Build trusted long-term relationships with clients and scientific experts
• Facilitate collaboration between medical, commercial, and scientific stakeholders
Develop and contribute to Project leadership
• Contribute to successful and profitable execution of projects through proactive planning and coordination
• Negotiate timelines, deliverables, and critical success factors with clients and vendors
• Monitor project progress, content quality, budgets, and execution steps
• Develop matrix leadership across multidisciplinary project teams

Your profile
You are scientifically strong, commercially aware, and comfortable operating in a dynamic international environment.
You bring:
• A Master’s degree in a scientific, pharmaceutical, biomedical, or related discipline
• Strong interest in medical communication and educational content development
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality
• A hands-on, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset
• The ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
• Ambition for strong project management (experience is an asset), matrix leadership and business development
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Languages:
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Excellent command of Dutch
