We are seeking a Junior Real‑World Evidence (RWE) Analyst to join a global RWE function within a leading biopharmaceutical organization. In this role, you will contribute to the design and execution of real‑world studies that generate insights supporting internal decision‑making and advancing the scientific understanding of diseases.
You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams and external partners to deliver high‑quality evidence that informs R&D strategy, regulatory interactions, payer discussions, and patient‑focused outcomes. This position is ideal for early‑career scientists eager to grow in epidemiology, pharmaco‑epidemiology, biostatistics, or data science.
This is a consultancy position for which an employee status is possible if living in Belgium, if ,ot only freelance profiles can be accepted.
Key Responsibilitie
* sSupport Global RWE Strategy — Contribute to shaping RWE strategy and tactical plans for specific patient populations
* .Assist in RWE Study Design & Execution — Support protocol development, analysis specifications, and study execution using internal and external real‑world data
* .Drive Innovation in Study Design — Contribute to innovative methodological approaches, including causal inference and advanced analytics
* .Collaborate with External Partners — Work with external vendors and contractors to deliver high‑quality RWE outputs
* .Clarify Protocol Implementation — Provide guidance to analysts to ensure accurate protocol execution
* .Interpret and Communicate Findings — Support interpretation of analyses and communicate insights to internal and external stakeholders
* .Ensure Strategic Alignment — Help ensure RWE activities align with program strategy and clinical development plans
. Education & Qualification
* sMaster’s degree or PhD in epidemiology, pharmacy, biostatistics, data science, public health, or a related field
* .Hands‑on experience with observational research (prospective or retrospective) in academia, consulting, or industry
* .Familiarity with causal inference methodologies (e.g., target trial emulation, propensity score methods, instrumental variables, interrupted time series)
* .Understanding of clinical development, particularly Phase 1 and Phase 2 trials
* .Strong scientific curiosity, creativity, and openness to innovative analytical approaches
