Job description
In this role, you will provide analytical support for new molecular entities from early clinical development through registration. You will contribute to reference standard characterisation, support method development and validation activities, perform analytical testing, evaluate scientific results, and ensure compliance with quality, safety and regulatory requirements.
Key responsibilities
* Perform analytical testing to support characterisation activities.
* Conduct LC, IC and GC analyses for purity assessment.
* Develop fit for purpose analytical methods for reporting requirements.
* Perform analyses supporting characterisation, validation, release and stability activities.
* Ensure adherence to GMP, safety requirements and analytical standards.
* Assess generated data and communicate conclusions effectively.
Required competences & skills
* Master’s degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biochemistry or related field, or bachelor’s degree with relevant experience.
* Strong practical knowledge of LC, IC and GC techniques.
* Experience with Empower and/or OpenLab chromatography systems.
* Awareness of cGMP regulations and practical experience is a plus.
* Experience with additional characterisation methods such as water determination or titrations is a plus.
* Maintains high standards and accountability for results.
* Able to respond effectively to changing priorities.
* Works independently while contributing positively within teams.
* Proficient in written and spoken English.
* Demonstrates a results driven and service oriented mindset.
