This role sits at the intersection of creativity and engineering, focused on building animated, interactive, and immersive frontends backed by solid full-stack capabilities.
As a Medior Full Stack Developer, you will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement strategic, technically sound solutions. We are not looking for someone who can do it all. Frontend engineering is the primary focus of this role, while backend skills are a big plus. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn and has the right fundamental knowledge to grow fast. The team consists of one full-time (full-stack) and one part-time (frontend-focused) developer in a fast-paced environment where quick prototyping is a big part of our day-to-day job, alongside maintaining existing platforms and websites. You will work hands-on with modern frontend frameworks and turn creative concepts into pixel-perfect, interactive experiences for some of our most iconic clients, including Proximus, Nieuwsblad, Veolia and the Belgian Red Devils.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
* Build and maintain responsive, animated, and interactive web applications using React and Next.js.
* Strong foundation in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
* Translate Figma designs into performant, accessible (W3C standards), and pixel-perfect frontend code. And develop structured, reusable styling using Tailwind CSS or Sass/SCSS.
* Implement complex animations and interactions using GSAP, Framer Motion, Three.js, React Three Fiber, or WebGL.
* Support our main backend-focused full stack developer. Backend knowledge (such as Python, FastAPI, Node.js, and databases) is preferred.
* You have enough technical knowledge to discuss and spar with our other developers on creative, out-of-the-box full stack solutions, as well as help maintain existing platforms, databases, and API integrations.
* Proficient with Git for version control and collaborative workflows.
* Some knowledge of how to host, deploy, and maintain web solutions, with a familiarity with standard DevOps practices, Docker, AWS, and CI/CD pipelines.
* Cross-browser testing skills and performance optimisation across modern devices.
* Fluent in Dutch OR French, and professionally comfortable in English.

* 3+ years of professional experience in frontend or full-stack development.
* Strong attention to detail with a "design-first" mindset, ensuring high-quality output in typography, spacing, colour, and motion.
* Collaborative mindset with experience working effectively in cross-functional, design-led teams.
* Problem-solving approach with a focus on architectural best practices, scalability, and maintainability.
* Inclusive design thinking with an eye for accessibility.
* Proactive learner who keeps up with evolving tech trends, including AI.
* A strong interest or background in creative coding or generative art is highly valued.
Our Brussels studio is located next to Le Botanique, a short walk from Brussels-North train station.
