Through our online auction platform, we offer over 15.000 vehicles per week, sourced from leading fleet owners, leasing and rental companies, as well as banks and dealerships. /p pOver the last 3 years we have achieved a b50% YoY profitable growth, /b building a leading market position in Europe. As we enter our next growth phase, we are seeking a driven business development manager, to help maximize this momentum and unlock significant new growth opportunities. /p h3The Role /h3 pAs bHead of Business Development, /b you will be responsible for expanding and optimizing our supplier network. You will play a crucial role in bacquiring new suppliers, optimizing and activating existing relationships /b, and ensuring a bhealthy conversion on the market place /b. /p pYou will work closely with the CCO and the commercial team to support eCarsTrade's strategic objectives. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liMaintain and strengthen existing relationships with suppliers (leasing companies, rental firms, dealers) /li liActivate "sleeping" suppliers through proactive outreach and value proposition /li liIdentify and recruit new suppliers in the lease, rental, and dealer markets /li liNegotiate cooperation agreements and terms /li liRepresent eCarsTrade at networking events, conferences, and partner meetings /li liMonitor the balance between purchase prices and selling prices /li liAnalyze bidding patterns and sales results to enable price optimization /li liCollaborate with the auction and pricing team to translate market insights into action /li liMonitor competitor pricing and market trends to remain competitive /li /ul h3Data Performance /h3 ul liStructure and maintain a supplier’s CRM /li liUse data to support decisions (conversion ratios, supplier performance, customer lifetime value) /li liReport regularly on pipeline, acquisition results, and supplier activation /li liImplement KPIs for supplier management and business development /li liGather market insights on lease and rental markets, fleet dynamics, and vehicle valuation /li liGetting market insights on the vehicle demand /li liContribute to go-to-market strategies for new supplier segments /li liIdentify new opportunities for collaboration and revenue streams /li /ul h3Your Profile /h3 ul li5+ years in business development, sales, or supplier management; preferably in automotive, remarketing, or B2B marketplace environments /li liKnowledge of the automotive industry, focusing on vehicle leasing, car rental, dealerships, and fleet management /li liStrong data-driven mindset with experience in price analysis and performance tracking /li liProven ability to close business deals and build long-term relationships /li liExcellent verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and English; business-level French considered a plus /li liSelf-starter who takes initiative and pursues results in a fast-growing environment /li liEmpathic, people-oriented approach with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders /li /ul h3Nice to Have /h3 ul liExisting network within the automotive, lease, or rental sector /li liKnowledge of vehicle valuation and used car market dynamics /li liKnowledge of additional European languages /li /ul h3What We Offer /h3 ul liExecutive-level impact in a fast-scaling, profitable company /li liCompetitive compensation package with company car and bonus /li liFlexibility, autonomy, and room to build at scale /li liBrand-new office (Puurs) with gym, modern facilities, drinks and healthy snacks /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
