About the Role

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) drives revenue, adoption and growth from large and fast‑growing small‑ and mid‑market accounts to enterprise‑level customers, including the public sector.

We are looking for an experienced AWS Enterprise Sales Account Manager focused on Corporate Accounts. The candidate is a self‑starter who develops and executes an account coverage plan and consistently delivers on revenue targets. They possess a strong sales and business background, the ability to engage CxO‑level stakeholders, and intermediate‑to‑high‑tech knowledge to engage software developers, IT architects, and other technical roles within customers.

In this role, the account manager works with a small set of large customers, using a prescriptive and in‑depth approach. The role requires understanding complex business requirements and providing tailored solutions. It demands strong analytical thinking, rapid adaptation to dynamic environments, and excellent communication, presentation, and teamwork skills.


Key Responsibilities

* Drive adoption in a defined set of accounts to meet or exceed revenue targets, accelerating customer adoption through education and engagement.
* Develop and execute a strategic plan that creates and maintains a robust sales pipeline, including opportunities in existing accounts and net‑new business in untapped customers.
* Manage multiple accounts concurrently using sales and metrics data analysis to evolve strategy and develop long‑term relationships with key accounts.
* Create and articulate compelling value propositions around AWS.
* Assist customers in identifying use cases for priority adoption of Amazon Web Services and best‑practice implementations.
* Work with partners to manage joint selling opportunities.


Basic Qualifications

* 8+ years of direct sales or business development in software, cloud or SaaS markets, selling to C‑level executives.
* 8+ years of business development, partner development, sales or alliances management experience.
* Experience with AI/ML technologies.
* English‑language communication skills, both written and verbal.


Preferred Qualifications

* 5+ years of building profitable partner ecosystems.
* Experience developing detailed go‑to‑market plans.
