Our team in Brazil is growing; we are currently recruiting for a Estimator Engineer, Intermediate to join our Minerals & Metals Business line in the Belo Horizonte office.
About The Role
* Responsible for preparing investment estimates (CapEx), operational costs (OpEx), and sustaining costs.
* Managing quotations and analyzing commercial proposals; developing unit price compositions.
* Serving as the interface with suppliers and other disciplines.
About You
* Experience in preparing CAPEX/OPEX for large‑scale projects in mining, metallurgy, and infrastructure.
* Experience in preparing budgets for civil and assembly services.
* Analysis and preparation of BDI (Budget Difference Indicator).
* Knowledge of taxation.
* Preparation of unit price compositions (UPCs), including definition of contingency, escalation, and allowances for uncertainties.
* Commercial proposal analysis.
* Issuance of commercial evaluations of proposals.
* Knowledge of FEL methodology or similar for capital project development and implementation.
* Experience in preparing economic and financial disbursements for projects.
* Strong interpersonal skills.
* Best practices in strategic project management.
* Experience in multidisciplinary engineering projects.
* Experience with project implementation.
