As a Network Security Consultant, you are the technical authority on our network and security engagements. You design, implement and optimize complex multi-vendor environments built around our core stack: Cato Networks (SASE/SSE), Illumio (Zero Trust Segmentation) and our emerging partners.
You operate as a hands-on technical lead: leading delivery on the most demanding projects, mentoring team members, and acting as the third-line escalation point when things get hard. You enjoy the mix of deep engineering, customer dialogue and team enablement.

Task
* Lead the design, configuration and implementation of complex network and security solutions.
* Act as technical lead on projects: own the end-to-end delivery.
* Optimize the security posture of our customers: review and tighten policies, segmentation models, reference architectures and operational practices.
* Perform expert-level troubleshooting across network and security layers (routing, firewalling, VPN/IPsec, SD-WAN, identity, application traffic).
* Translate business requirements into reference architectures: propose options with clear pros and cons, then guide the customer team through implementation.
* Contribute to pre-sales: shape technical proposals, build and run demos, and represent us in scoping conversations with prospects.
* Automate where it pays off: write scripts and reusable libraries for deployments, configuration management and validation.
* Build reusable assets (documentation, scripts, templates, runbooks) and share best practices to lift the whole team.
* Coach junior colleagues and support their path to excellence.
Profile
* You have experience in network and security consulting or engineering, with a track record of leading delivery on complex customer projects.
* You have expert-level skills in at least two of our core domains: SASE/SSE (ideally Cato Networks), Zero Trust Segmentation (ideally Illumio), or Next-Generation Firewalling (ideally Palo Alto Networks, or equivalent Fortinet / Check Point background you’re willing to convert).
* You have solid fundamentals in routing, firewalling, VPN/IPsec, SD-WAN, BGP, and modern identity-based access concepts (ZTNA, SSO).
* You are comfortable with scripting and automation (Python, Terraform) and can independently build, validate and document new functionality, turning scripts into reusable libraries where possible.
* You can propose a reference architecture from business requirements, defend the trade-offs, and then guide a team through the implementation.
* You communicate confidently with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* You take initiative: you spot problems, propose solutions, and move them forward without waiting to be told.
* You are a team player who enjoys mentoring, sharing knowledge and lifting others but equally able to work autonomously under pressure.
