Responsibilities
* Lead end-to-end optimization of new Nokia wireless networks introduction in the UK, focusing on capacity and architecture design, network performance improvements, and cluster & feature acceptances.
* Conduct root‑cause analyses to identify performance issues and implement effective solutions post‑launch.
* Collaborate with a dynamic team of experts, fostering an environment of continuous learning and knowledge sharing.
* Engage directly with customers to provide consultative insights on 4G and 5G technologies and best practices.
* Utilize cutting‑edge tools and methodologies to tackle complex network performance challenges.
* Drive customer satisfaction through enhanced network performance and innovative service delivery.
Qualifications
* Good understanding of 5G FR1 NSA/SA, 5G FR2, and LTE architecture.
* Knowledge of Nokia RRM, features, and parameters.
* Ability to analyze Nokia internal syslogs, eNB/gNB logs, EMIL, TTI traces for quick troubleshooting and to expedite/steer R&D analysis.
* Comfortable working with tools such as ATOLL, RNP9955, ACTIX, NEMO, Wireshark, LTE PAT.
* Exposure to logging tools such as QXDM, XCAL, or equivalent, with proficiency.
* Experience with TCP packet analysis using Wireshark or similar tools.
* Be very comfortable using Mantaray tools such as Performance Manager, Advanced Configurator, CM Editor, etc. Candidate should be able to create a configuration plan and execute XML’s independently if needed.
* Strong understanding of National Benchmarking (Umlaut, ARCEP, etc.) methodology and optimization.
* Demonstrated experience with 5G & LTE end‑to‑end optimization projects.
* Willing to learn and adapt quickly to ever‑changing market requirements.
* Team player, able to work with international teams remotely with good communication and problem‑solving skills.
Nice to Have
* Nokia ORAN/VRAN experience.
* Multivendor (Huawei, Ericsson, Samsung) to Nokia swap experience, KPI, Feature mapping.
