As a Digital Design Engineer (FPGA), you will play a vital role in designing and developing cutting-edge FPGA-based systems for satellite communication products. Based in Antwerpen, ANT, BE, you'll be part of a dynamic team working on innovative technologies, including digitalizers that convert RF signals to digital signals, high-speed receivers, telecommand and telemetry base modems, and other advanced communication systems. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing FPGA subsystems in VHDL, conducting simulations and verification tests using tools such as Questa and ModelSim, integrating FPGA modules into larger architectures, and documenting your designs and test results. Collaboration with a cross-disciplinary team of hardware, software, and system engineers is essential, as is troubleshooting and resolving FPGA-related issues.
