Your new role We are currently seeking a proactive Production Assistant to join our team in Zaventem. Reporting directly to the Factory Operation Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing the planning and administrative processes for our bare compressor production. You will work alongside a team of 50 production professionals, ensuring smooth coordination between departments such as sales, engineering, quality, logistics, and warehouse operations. Key responsibilities Manage and monitor daily production planning Coordinate delivery schedules and communicate effectively with sales, engineering & quality, production, warehouse, and logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfilment Proactively track production progress and update sales representatives on order status Maintain accurate stock follow-up in collaboration with the warehouse team Prepare production job orders and production bundles Serve as the first point of contact for delivery term enquiries Support the Factory Operation Manager with various administrative tasks Your profile Minimum 2 years’ experience in an administrative or planning role within a production environment Technical aptitude with a willingness to learn about compressor technology Strong organisational, planning, and time management skills Detail-oriented, communicative, and adaptable to changing priorities and deadlines Experience with ERP systems is an advantage. Proficiency in MS Office, especially Word and Excel Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus Experience in tracking and reporting KPIs related to on-time delivery is a bonus.
