Technical Project Manager (Full-Time)

Muchos Eventos is an engineering company specializing in the design and production of custom lighting solutions for the event and entertainment industry. From large-scale festivals and concert tours to immersive brand experiences and architectural installations, we create innovative, high-performance lighting systems tailored to each project.
We are expanding our team and are looking for a Technical Project Manager to lead complex, fast-paced projects from concept through delivery.
The Role
As a Technical Project Manager, you will be the key link between clients, engineers, designers, and production teams. You'll oversee technical project planning, timelines, resources, and execution while ensuring every solution meets the highest standards of quality and performance.
Key Responsibilities
• Plan, manage, and deliver technical projects from initial concept to final installation
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, design, production, and logistics
• Work closely with clients to understand technical requirements and project goals
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and risk assessments
• Oversee prototyping, testing, and final production of custom (lighting) solutions
• Manage documentation, technical specifications, and change requests
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and internal quality controls
• Attend site visits, installations, and live event build-outs as required
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience)
• 3+ years experience in technical project management, ideally within lighting, live events, entertainment, or manufacturing
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, lighting technology, or AV/production environments
• Proven experience managing budgets, schedules, and technical deliverables
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities
• Fluent in Dutch and English
Preferred Skills
• Experience with CAD drawings and technical documentation
• Familiarity with DMX, Art-Net, sACN, or other lighting control protocols
• Knowledge of live event production and fixed installation workflows
