For one of our clients, a leader in logistics and sustainability, we’re looking for a proactive Safety & Health Coordinator to strengthen their team.
Your responsibilities include:
1. Compliance & Legislation: Ensure adherence to the Welfare Act, Codex, and relevant safety regulations
2. Advise management on legal obligations and improvement opportunities
3. Maintain contact with external authorities (FPS WASO, fire brigade, inspections,
4. Risk & Prevention: Conduct and follow up on risk and workstation analyses
5. Develop and monitor the Global Prevention Plan and Annual Action Plan
6. Identify risks and implement corrective and preventive actions
7. Training & Awareness
8. Incident & Audit Management
9. Operational Support: Advise on safe workplace design and ergonomic improvements
10. Manage PPE and safety equipment. Support well-being initiatives
11. Sustainability Backup: Assist in ESG data collection and reporting
12. Reporting & Projects: Lead safety-related projects and collaborate with Facility, HR, and Operations
Profiel
Requirements
13. Minimum Diploma in Prevention Advisor Level 2.
14. Thorough knowledge of welfare legislation, Codex and safety standards.
15. At least 3 years of experience in a logistics, production or industrial environment.
16. Basic knowledge of sustainability reporting (ESG, CO₂) is an advantage.
17. Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability.
18. Good communication skills (Dutch and English, French is a plus).
19. Proactive attitude, persuasiveness and hands-on mentality.
20. Familiarity with ISO 45001, ISO 9001 and/or GDP is an advantage.
21. Stress-resistant and decisive.
22. Strong organisational skills and accuracy.
23. Team player with coaching skills.
24. Eye for detail, safety and sustainability.
