Through a combination of engineering expertise, energy optimization and innovative technologies, they help clients reduce emissions, improve operational efficiency and achieve their sustainability ambitions.
To support the continued growth of their Energy Transition division, we are looking for an Industrial Decarbonization Manager.
This strategic position combines technical expertise, project leadership, client development and mentoring responsibilities, with direct exposure to some of Belgium's most ambitious industrial energy transition projects.
Your role
As Industrial Decarbonization Manager, you will support industrial clients in defining and implementing their energy transition strategy while contributing to the growth of the Energy Transition division.
You will:
* Lead industrial decarbonization and energy transition projects from assessment to implementation
* Advise clients on energy efficiency, electrification, HVAC optimization and carbon reduction initiatives
* Support industrial organizations in defining realistic and actionable decarbonization roadmaps
* Act as a technical reference point for both clients and project teams
* Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams and external stakeholders
* Manage project planning, budgets, deliverables and overall project performance
* Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and safety standards
* Develop innovative data-driven solutions to improve energy performance and site sustainability
* Collaborate closely with engineering, maintenance and digital teams to develop integrated energy solutions
* Mentor and support junior consultants and project engineers on complex assignments
* Contribute to the development of new service offerings aligned with market needs
* Build long-term relationships with industrial clients and identify new business opportunities
* Represent the Energy Transition division during workshops, events and client meetings
Your profile
* Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related technical field
* Minimum 10 years of experience in HVAC, energy management, utilities, industrial engineering or decarbonization projects
* Experience gained within an engineering consultancy, technical services company or industrial environment
* Strong understanding of industrial processes, energy systems and sustainability challenges
* Good knowledge of control systems, energy monitoring and digital performance management tools
* Proven experience managing complex technical projects involving multiple stakeholders
* Ability to build trusted relationships with clients and contribute to business development
* Strong communication, leadership and mentoring skills
* Entrepreneurial mindset combined with a collaborative approach
* Fluent in Dutch with a good command of French
