Your Tasks: As Account Manager Benelux, you will be responsible to grow the business with both existing and new customers in Belgium and in the Netherlands. You will pro-actively develop the market by visiting (potential) customers, attending seminars, networking events, etc. You will: Define a sales strategy and translate your sales objectives into a sales action plan and execute this plan in order to realize the targets set. Manage customer relationship and intimacy, customer acquisition and retention by maintaining and further building on the existing commercial contacts that belong to your customer portfolio to ensure that the budget is realized. identifying and contacting prospects to ensure that the customer portfolio is further expanded. Identify customer needs, bring fresh insight to customer business that will help deliver competitive advantage and liaise with your colleague Product Manager on potential new products. Draw up quotations in consultation with the Business Manager making sure the most attractive and profitable conditions are offered; conclude contracts with the customers, taking into account the existing product range, highest profitable pricing and delivery times. Be responsible for budget planning, forecasting, sales generation and reporting for the region. Ensure that you are well-informed about the evolution and developments related to your market, by keeping close relationships with the customers, attending networking events, exhibitions, establishing good relationships with external stakeholder. Act as contact person for all customer related inquiries and issues. Your Profile You have minimum a Bachelor degree with 3-5 years’ commercial experience in a similar sales position. You have a strong interest in technical products and are comfortable understanding and explaining technical features, requirements, and applications to customers. Your commercial attitude and excellent communication and interpersonal skills help you in developing long term partnerships. Your enthusiasm, strong negotiation skills and helicopter view make you a credible and solid partner for both clients and colleagues. You are highly client‑ and results‑oriented, motivated by achieving targets, and eager to take on new business challenges. You are fluent in Dutch, English and French.
