This is a client-side role, reporting into the PMC Construction Manager, responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of construction logistics across a technically complex, multi-contractor environment. The successful candidate will act as the primary interface between the logistics contractor, package contractors and the wider PMC team.Key ResponsibilitiesReview, approve and monitor comprehensive logistics plans submitted by the logistics contractor, ensuring alignment with the overall project programmeOversee and manage the interface between multiple plot and package contractors, ensuring logistics activities are coordinated across all active construction zonesChair logistics and planning meetings; track and distribute meeting minutes, action logs and updated logistics plansAudit and report on the logistics contractor's self-assessments covering QA, safety, environmental and welfare complianceAssess and process variations and adjustments to the logistics contractor's scope; review cost impacts andreport through the project change management processCoordinate site traffic management, contractor laydown areas and site accommodation planning across all plotsInterface with the Owner Furnished Equipment (OFE) manager to review and approve logistics plans for all client-supplied equipment deliveries and installationsWork closely with the VDC/BIM team to review field coordination activities and trade sequencing across packagesReview and validate phasing plans, construction sequencing and logistics interrelationships in alignment with the project scheduleProduce and issue regular logistics dashboards to the PMC Construction Manager and wider project teamIdentify, escalate and drive resolution of logistics-related risks and issues, maintaining a live risk register in coordination with the project teamRequirementsMinimum 5 years' experience in a Construction Logistics Manager role on large-scale construction projectsProven data centre construction experience in a PMC or client-side capacity — essentialExperience across multiple ground-up data centre builds strongly preferredStrong understanding of hyperscale or mission critical construction environmentsDemonstrated ability to manage and hold accountable a logistics contractor and multiple subcontractors simultaneouslyProficient in reviewing, challenging and approving detailed logistics and phasing plansExperience with construction change management processes and variation assessmentDegree in Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline preferredFluent English — written and spoken — essentialAdditional European languages advantageous (French, Dutch)EU work authorisation requiredAbout the OpportunityThis is a freelance engagement offering the opportunity to work on a major data centre construction programme in Belgium within a structured PMC environment.
