The Resource - Financial Services will be primarily responsible for leading, developing, and scaling the Consortium business model across the country, while providing strategic Retail Finance support to the Regional Team. The incumbent will oversee the end-to-end portfolio of the Consortium from group formation and quota management to bidding efficiency and final contemplations/ disbursements.
Additionally, the incumbent will lead the development of affordable financial products, establish strategic national and regional partnerships (Banks, Non-Banking Financial Companies and Cooperative sectors), and drive the end-to-end digitization of the customer’s consortium and finance journey on the Royal Enfield Web/ Mobile App to maintain a fierce competitive advantage.
Responsibilities:
* Monitor and optimize the monthly performance of the Consortium business, with a strict focus on consortium group health, quota sales, bidding efficiency, and contemplation turnover
* Design and launch customized Consortium schemes and structures tailored to different customer profiles, ensuring high attractiveness and affordability compared to traditional finance
* Collate market insights to promote GMA (Genuine Motorcycle Accessories) and Apparels as a bundle-buying solution integrated directly into Consortium plans and finance options
* Utilize Consortium and Finance Partner networks to generate leads and create cross-selling opportunities through referral programs and partner-driven customer databases
* Develop product-specific marketing campaigns and field activities to increase Consortium & Financial Services penetration in untapped markets by studying strategic and competitive prospects
* Liaise with senior officials of Banks, Non-Banking Financial Companies and Consortium administrators to build robust relationships at regional and branch levels, securing competitive advantages and exclusive product white-labeling
* Identify and establish new National-level finance and consortium partners within Royal Enfield Dealerships, enabling smooth retail execution through Preferred Partners
* Work closely with dealership managers and retail finance executives to monitor Consortium/ Financial Services proposal movements, ensuring high conversion rates from initial inquiry to final booking
* Participate in strategic planning with the sales team to reduce turnaround time (TAT) from consortium group entry/loan login to final approval and motorcycle delivery
* Follow up to ensure timely disbursement and easy fund flow at Dealerships, ensuring fast resolution of escalated payout queries and payout release to dealers as per agreed terms and conditions
* Track financier/consortium-wise rejection ratios at the dealership level and ensure strict adherence to SOPs for the escalation, mitigation, and resolution of rejection cases
* Drive the Digitization of the customer journey, ensuring seamless onboarding for Consortium and Retail Finance
* Ensure dealerships have dedicated teams with strong Consortium and retail finance capabilities by building continuous training programs, including onboarding for the Digital Finance Marketplace
* Ensure 100% availability of digital finance and consortium options at Studio Dealers to facilitate instant, on-the-spot approvals and structural simulations for all customers
* Ensure strict adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) by partners, continuously working to improve the digital login-to-approval TAT and fund disbursal speed
* Generate critical MIS (Management Information System) and monthly performance reports regarding Consortium group health, market share, and retail finance volumes to directly support data-driven business decisions at the corporate level
* Gather field information on customers and market trends to develop competitive intelligence, converting key customers, new segments, and contractors from existing databases
* Work with finance and consortium companies to promote higher funding/value programs, maximizing the number of customers in higher-tenure plans and offering low down-payment/ entry barriers for higher sales conversion
Qualifications/ Experience:
* Bachelors Degree, Degree Level Educated in relevant subject
* 3+ years’ experience in Financial Services / Retail finance industry
* Must speak fluent English
