OverviewWelcome to the dynamic world of Yusen Logistics! The newly created key role offers a unique opportunity to strategically shape Payroll as well as Compensation & Benefits across Cluster North (Europe). Your focus will be on assessing, evaluating, and further developing existing structures, while driving harmonization of processes and programs across different countries. As a company with Japanese roots, we embrace the philosophy of Kaizen—the culture of continuous improvement—in all our business areas.ResponsibilitiesOverall accountability for accurate, timely, and compliant payroll operations across Cluster NorthLead and develop international payroll teams and manage external payroll providersEnsure compliance with labor, tax, and social security regulations across multiple countriesDesign and implement Compensation & Benefits strategies aligned with business objectives and market standardsDevelop and maintain competitive salary structures, incentive schemes, and benefits programsConduct market benchmarking and support leadership in compensation‑related decision‑makingLead HR projects (e.g., system implementations, process improvements, harmonization initiatives)Deliver reporting, KPIs, and ensure audit readiness and compliance standardsQualificationsDegree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related fieldExtensive experience (approx. 10+ years) in HR with a focus on payroll and Compensation & BenefitsProven leadership experience, ideally within an international matrix organizationStrong knowledge of labor, tax, and social security legislation across EuropeExperience with payroll systems, HRIS, and reporting toolsStrong analytical skills with the ability to design and evaluate compensation frameworksSolid project management experience in cross‑country environmentsFluency in English and strong intercultural communication skillsBenefitsProfessional Development: Regular feedback and development discussions, targeted support through high‑quality training, and access to our self‑learning platform.Attractive Working Conditions: Company car, free parking, 39‑hour workweek, 35 days of vacation, flexible home office options (2 days per week), flexible working hours, company pension scheme, hospitalization insurance & group insurance.Additional Perks: Employee discounts, referral bonus program, and much more.
