Digital Workplace Architect

In this role, you will lead the further development of CLdN’s digital workplace environment. You will ensure that employees across the group can work securely, efficiently and collaboratively, while bringing structure, governance and standardisation to the tools and processes that support them.
Your role
As Digital Workplace Architect, you will take ownership of the digital workplace domain across CLdN. You will define the vision, standards and roadmap for modern workplace solutions and act as the key link between the business and IT.
Your focus will be on creating a secure, scalable and user-friendly workplace environment that supports collaboration, productivity and operational efficiency across the organization.
* Define and drive the digital workplace roadmap, aligned with CLdN’s IT strategy and operational excellence objectives.
* Act as domain owner for Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange Online, Power Platform, endpoint management and related workplace tools.
* Establish standards, policies and governance for the use of workplace technologies across the group. Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize and automate workplace-related processes, including onboarding, offboarding, access management, document management and device lifecycle management.
* Provide direction on the use of Power Automate and related automation capabilities, including what should and should not be automated.
* Work closely with stakeholders to translate organizational needs into scalable workplace solutions.
* Partner with IT Security on requirements related to identity, access, data protection, compliance, device security and secure collaboration.
* Partner with generative AI and Automation roles across the group to ensure the Digital Workplace provides a secure, well-governed data foundation to support a secure and robust AI capabilities foundation
* Advise on product selection, vendor management and lifecycle decisions within the workplace domain.
* Lead or coordinate workplace-related projects, migrations, roll-outs and improvement initiatives.
* Act as a senior advisor for complex workplace-related challenges, connecting technical, organizational and process-related aspects.
* Monitor Microsoft roadmap developments and market trends, and translate relevant evolutions into practical recommendations for CLdN.
* Build a structured approach to documentation, user communication, training and adoption.
Your profile
* A bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT, business technology or equivalent experience.
* Solid experience in digital workplace, modern workplace, IT operations or workplace transformation, preferably in a medium-to-large-scale environment.
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, including Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive and Exchange Online.
* Good understanding of endpoint management, identity and access management, preferably within Microsoft Intune, Autopilot and Microsoft Entra ID.
* Sound understanding of workplace security principles, including Conditional Access, data protection, compliance and secure collaboration.
* Experience with workplace governance, standards, roadmaps or product lifecycle management.
* Ability to combine technical understanding with organizational insight and translate business needs into pragmatic, scalable and secure solutions.
* Confident in challenging existing ways of working and advising stakeholders at different levels.
* Dutch/ English speaking skills on a professional level.
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, both towards technical and non-technical audiences.
* Willingness to travel occasionally between CLdN locations.

Working Hours & Additional Leave
* Full-time contract of 38 hours per week

* Work hours with flexible start (7:30–9:30 AM) and finish (4:00–6:00 PM)
