For Nipro Europe Group Companies, we are looking for an HR Intern willing to explore Artifical Intelligence possibilities to join us in our HR team, based in our EMEA headquarters office in Mechelen, Belgium.
About the role
As an HR & AI Intern, you will work on a transversal HR project with real impact:
exploring, analysing and proposing practical AI use cases for our HR functions at HQ & EMEA level.
You will collaborate closely with several HR sub‑departments:
* Talent Acquisition
* Talent Management
* Compensation & Benefits
* HR Generalist / HR Operations
Your work will contribute to shaping how AI can be ethically, securely and effectively used within HR at Nipro.
How you will contribute
Explore and analyse AI use cases in HR, with a strong focus on
* Recruitment & Talent Acquisition efficiency
* Training, learning & talent development
* HR reporting, data analysis and insights
* HR operations, documentation and employee experience
Benchmark AI tools, technologies and best practices used in HR (Belgium / Europe / global context).
• Identify concrete opportunities for improvement within Nipro’s HR processes using AI.
• Collaborate with HR stakeholders to understand business needs and constraints.
• Assess feasibility, risks and compliance aspects, including data privacy and GDPR considerations.
• Develop and present recommendations, including: Expected benefits; Limitations and risks; High level implementation considerations
• Where relevant, build proof of concepts, demos or prototypes (no heavy coding required).

What you will bring to Nipro
We are looking for a student who is:
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in:
o Human Resources
o Economy or Business Administration
o Psychology
o Data / Digital / Technology related studies
(or a comparable field)
Strongly interested in Artificial Intelligence and digital transformation
Curious about how technology and people processes intersect
Analytical, structured and able to translate ideas into practical proposals
Comfortable working with digital tools (Excel, PowerPoint, AI tools, dashboards, etc.)
Proactive, autonomous and eager to learn
Fluent in English (our working language).
