SAT Tester Service/Project Customer Processes
Overview
Atrias is seeking a Senior SAT Tester to join its SAT Testing Team and support the delivery of high-quality releases within the Belgian energy market. The role focuses on executing sanity, regression, and functional testing, managing defects, supporting release validation activities, and collaborating closely with analysts, vendors, and market stakeholders.
The tester will contribute to both waterfall and Agile projects while ensuring the quality and stability of customer-related processes across multiple energy market domains.
Key Responsibilities
Test Execution
* Execute sanity, regression, and functional testing activities.
* Design and execute test scenarios for projects and changes.
* Perform analysis testing to investigate system and process behaviour.
* Execute ad-hoc testing requests from analysts.
Defect Management
* Log and track defects in MF ALM Quality Center.
* Follow defect management procedures and quality standards.
* Retest resolved defects and document results.
* Perform first-line defect analysis during major releases.
Incident Management
* Log and follow up incidents in Topdesk.
* Support troubleshooting activities within test environments.
Collaboration & Reporting
* Participate in daily stand-ups and coordination meetings.
* Collaborate with vendors during defect resolution and SCRUM activities.
* Support DGO and market testing initiatives.
* Report progress, risks, and issues to Test Leads and Coordinators.
Knowledge Sharing
* Organize and conduct knowledge-sharing sessions.
* Support onboarding of new team members.
* Share expertise on domains, testing approaches, and methodologies.
Required Skills & Experience
Testing Experience
* 5+ years as a Test Specialist.
* 6+ years as a Functional Software Tester.
* Experience writing test scenarios and test cases.
* Strong knowledge of formal testing methods and techniques.
* ISTQB Foundation Certification (or higher).
Energy Sector Experience
* Experience within the Belgian energy sector.
* Knowledge of MIG-DGO and MIG6 processes.
* Experience with customer-related business processes.
Technical Skills
* SQL query writing and execution.
* XML.
* SOAP UI.
* VBScript.
* MF ALM Quality Center.
* Defect lifecycle management.
Languages
* Dutch or French at CEFR C1 level.
* Minimum B1 level in the second national language.
* English at CEFR C1 level.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
* Knowledge of Agile testing methodologies.
* Experience with Topdesk.
* Experience supporting major release testing.
* Experience in semi-automated testing environments.
