Role
We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Senior Amicable Collection Officer to join a leading financial services organization in Brussels.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing customer accounts in arrears, negotiating repayment solutions, and ensuring effective recovery of unpaid instalments while maintaining positive customer relationships. You will act as a key point of contact for customers and play an important role in preventing files from progressing to litigation.
Key responsibilities
* Manage and recover unpaid instalments through amicable collection activities.
* Conduct outgoing and incoming communications with customers in arrears via phone, email, and other channels.
* Analyze customer files and financial situations to determine appropriate recovery actions.
* Negotiate repayment plans and mutually acceptable solutions.
* Monitor collection cases and ensure proper follow-up of agreed actions.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation of customer interactions.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure efficient case management.
* Contribute to achieving collection targets while maintaining a customer-centric approach.
