About the Company

We are a leading organization in the agricultural sector, dedicated to innovation and excellence in product development. Our mission is to enhance agricultural productivity while ensuring sustainability and environmental stewardship. We foster a collaborative culture that values diversity and encourages professional growth.

About the Role

The role involves coordinating product registration activities, managing variety naming applications, and ensuring data quality throughout the product lifecycle. You will be a key player in supporting the registration budget and collaborating with various teams to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

* Product Registration & Lifecycle Support: Support the preparation, documentation, and system entry of selected breeding codes for introduction into the product lifecycle system. Assist in compiling and preparing registration application forms, based on inputs from Breeders and Product Portfolio Managers, including both administrative and technical documentation. Coordinate the final submission of applications to authorities, including UPOV PRISMA electronic plant variety protection (ePVP) applications, ensuring alignment with internal market responsibility principles (e.g. Breeder or PPM ownership) and official application deadlines.
* Variety Naming & Portfolio Coordination: Coordinate and support variety naming applications (e.g. Stage 8.2) in close collaboration with Marketing and Product Portfolio teams. Ensure naming documentation is complete, accurate, and submitted according to agreed timelines.
* Registration Monitoring & Data Quality: Monitor registration status across markets and coordinate DUS documentation renewals or DUS report purchases as required. Maintain accurate, and up-to-date, registration and portfolio data in relevant systems. Remove obsolete or no-longer-relevant varieties from the global portfolio based on guidance from Product Managers. Provide variety registration information to supply chain colleagues to secure the seed certification process.
* Registration Budget management: Key contact in the Product Portfolio Management team for managing, and tracking, the registration budget.
* Sales Forecast & Portfolio Reporting Support (Optional / Scope-Dependent): Support sales forecasting (SOMA tool) by consolidating country-based sales forecasts into a global forecast view. Support Conviso forecasting (Seeds & Herbicides), and other new technology brands, to ensure bundle compliance and data consistency.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business administration, life sciences, agriculture, or a related field. Previous experience in product management, portfolio support, variety registration, business administration, or regulatory environment is preferred (ideally 3yr+). Experience in an international or matrix organization is an advantage.

Required Skills

* Structured, reliable, and process-oriented working style.
* Ability to work independently while coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills coupled with an ability to build relationships with others and work in an open and accepting manner.
* “Can do” service-oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership.
* Self-motivation with strong execution discipline.
* Discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive data.

Preferred Skills

* Capability to understand the key technical aspects of the variety registration process (including the requirements for VCU, value for cultivation and use and DUS, distinctness, uniformity and stability and an approved name).
* High attention to detail and data accuracy.
* Clear written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to manage recurring deadlines and cyclical processes.
* Flexibility and adaptability: managing, and prioritising, workload during the peak registration season and adapting to changes in the regulatory environment.
* Strong administrative and documentation management skills; previous experience working with databases or portfolio management systems would be useful.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with portfolio or registration systems is an advantage.
