We’re seeking a proactive, quality-minded and detail-driven Experienced Test Engineer to coordinate integration, system and automation testing including business, functional and technical domains. You’ll join a vibrant team spread across multiple locations, united by shared goals and great teamwork.
Your day-to-day mission:
1. Define testing scope and ensure requirements are testable, respecting Test-Driven Development (TDD) & Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) principles.
2. Design and execute test cases, scripts and scenarios, including the identification of the test data required using industry-standard tools.
3. Drive effective test automation, leveraging the BDD scenarios and use cases, to shorten time cycles while maintaining high quality.
4. Identify, create and analyse functional, technical and infrastructure defects in line with defect management standards and drive them to resolution.
5. Maintain regression test packs.
6. Regularly report test progress to main stakeholders.
7. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
8. Coach junior testers.
What you need to have to succeed in this role:
9. Experience with functional IT Testing, including TDD and BDD (. Gherkin).
10. Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability deliver test phases independently.
11. Exposure to automated frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and / or performance testing tools.
12. Understanding of distributed or mainframe technologies including Splunk, (IBM) MQ, job scheduling CA7 and SQL.Equivalent knowledge on open-source or cloud is an asset.
13. Hands on experience with automation tools such as Java, JDK, Springboot, IntelliJ, Cucumber, Junit, Extent, C#, Selenium, UFT, Java, Ready API, Git, Artifactory, Gradle, Maven, ADO/TFS, RestAssured, RestSharp, VBA.
14. Experience with test management and reporting tools such as TFS/Azure DevOps Test Plans, ServiceNow, Power BI, ALM/QC.
15. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
16. Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
What makes you stand out:
17. Certification in software testing (., ISTQB Certified Tester).
18. Knowledge and understanding of the Euroclear business and/or swift messaging in Asset servicing.
