We are actively searching for a Domain / Solution Architect who will bridge the business team (delivering business requirements) and our IS colleagues (functional and technical analysis & programming).
Key activities include:
Solution & Application Architecture (Functional & Technical) Design and Analysis
Architecture Reference documentation (Functional & Technical)
Functional Support and Coaching
Application Design end-to-end Monitoring
The Architect will work on transversal projects such as PEPPOL implementation, SAP migration strategy, and other regulatory processes. To function effectively, they must conceptualize, think abstractly, handle complex environments, and communicate across all management levels.
Mission Period
Expected start date: ASAP. Duration: 12 months (possible extension based on project evolution).

English – Speaking 3, Reading 3, Writing 3 (Mandatory)
Dutch – Speaking 3/1, Reading 3/1, Writing 3/1 (Mandatory)
French – Speaking 3/1, Reading 3/1, Writing 3/1 (Mandatory)
1 = Basic – 2 = Good – 3 = Fluent. For Dutch and French, one language must be fluent, the other at least good.

Technical Experience
Mandatory: Mastering of MS‑Office tools.
Mandatory: Understanding of relevant technologies and development life cycles.
Mandatory: Familiar with integration issues.
Mandatory: Familiar with packages management.
Years: Mid‑level (2-5 years).
Preferable: SQL, .NET, ETL.
Functional Experience
Mandatory: Similar function and Solution Analyses.
Mandatory: Deep knowledge and experience of architecture (Service Oriented Architecture, design patterns, architecture methodologies).
Mandatory: Building and constructing functional design of insurance application parts.
Mandatory: Developing whole picture.
Years: Senior (5-8 years).
Preferable: Insurance and/or Banking applications.
Objective of the Job
Requirements & Solution Definition
Gather & consolidate business requirements: documenting, analysing, negotiating, prioritising, proposing alternatives, and defining approach.
Analyse, define, design and propose solutions to highly complex business problems requiring innovative approaches.
Ensure solutions consider business requirements, development standards, operational constraints & risks.
Analysis & Design
During development of target architecture, compare application options (function, technology, cost), make recommendations and develop migration paths.
Understand functional and technical architecture.
Realise functional architecture analysis and estimate implementation cost.
Hand over functional architecture analysis to analysts and provide further support.
Integrate relevant stakeholders (business/domain experts) into analysis & design processes for knowledge transfer & coaching.
Realisation
Follow compliance of architecture with standards during application realization and support architecture responsibilities within the project lifecycle.
Ensure functional coherence of domains: determination, implementation and follow‑up of functional concepts and integration of business needs into existing solutions.
Advise actors during implementation phases and provide functional coaching to development points of contact.
Client Relationship / Stakeholder Management
Assist team manager and project leaders in customer relations.
Establish and maintain relationships with technology management, business management, program sponsors, key business clients and infrastructure management. xphnsxz
