Community Engagement Specialist (Remote) – US-Based Company

Responsibilities
* Monitor Facebook and Instagram comments and messages across multiple brand and whitelisted pages.
* Reply to customer comments, questions, and feedback using the appropriate brand voice and tone.
* Identify and quickly elevate potential customer service or PR issues.
* Determine when to reply, hide, or delete comments based on clear brand guidelines.
* Maintain active community engagement to encourage positive discussion and build trust with followers.
* Track and log engagement activity, frequently updating internal teams on trends or issues.
* Follow detailed SOPs for moderation, escalation, and communication protocols.
* Collaborate with marketing, customer service, and creative teams to ensure unified brand representation across all interactions.
Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
* Previous experience in community engagement, social media management, or customer relationship roles (2+ years preferred).
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
* Proficiency in using social media platforms and community management tools.
* Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* A proactive approach to problem‑solving and engagement.
* Experience in remote work or distributed team environments is a plus.
* A genuine passion for building community and fostering connections.
