Ph3Tasks and Responsibilities /h3 pWithin a large-scale business transformation programme, we are looking for a senior full-stack developer to strengthen the existing teams. You will join a department of around 70 people and contribute to the handover, refactoring and greenfield development of business applications. /p pIn this position, you will develop Java applications that support analyst input and business objectives, while contributing across the full software development lifecycle, from design through testing and deployment. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liDevelop and maintain business applications /li liBuild application components and web services /li liContribute to the design of architecture components and building blocks in close collaboration with technical leads and senior software architects /li liTake part in technical working groups, Scrum ceremonies and user meetings when needed /li liSupport testing, technical documentation, deployment, evaluation and reporting, including the use of JUnit and Jira /li /ul pThe role is based in Brussels, with hybrid working possibilities of up to three days per week from home. /p h3Your Profile /h3 ul liMinimum 5-7 years of full-time professional experience in Java development /li liMinimum 5-7 years of full-time professional experience in Angular development /li liStrong knowledge of Java, Jakarta EE, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate and Spring Security /li liExperience with SOAP and REST APIs, Spring Batch, SOA, microservices and CQRS /li liHands‑on experience with test‑driven development and testing tools such as JUnit, Mockito, Cypress and Selenium /li liFull‑stack skills covering HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular and backend development /li liFamiliarity with Maven, Jenkins, Docker, OpenShift, Git or SVN, Eclipse or IntelliJ, Sonar, JBoss and Tomcat /li liExperience with relational databases and O/R mapping, including PostgreSQL and SQL Server /li liAbility to read BPMN and UML and to work with technical documentation /li liExperience with Jira/Confluence and Agile/Scrum ways of working /li liNice to have: Talend, ZK, Oracle and Kafka /li liProblem‑solving mindset, ability to quickly understand existing code, customer‑oriented approach, easy integration into an existing team and capability to supervise junior developers /li /ul h3Languages /h3 ul liFrench or Dutch: active knowledge in at least one of these languages, including speaking, writing, reading and technical documentation /li liEnglish: active written knowledge and sufficient level for team communication /li /ul h3Offer /h3 pYou will be part of a growing Belgian SME where initiative and personal development are encouraged.
