Duties & Role:
1. Supporting Database Migrations from On-Prem to Cloud Environments
2. Maintaining Advanced DB Architectures on High Availability and Disaster Recovery Database Environments
3. Knowledge of the Microsoft reporting technologies (PowerBI, SSRS, SSIS), Grafana reporting and Automation technologies (Ansible) and sound experience on at least two;
4. Develops and configures tools to enable automation of database administration tasks.
5. Develops dynamic reports for database management systems, including issues and considerations;
6. Designs standard reports and automation policies to regulate database management system activities;
7. Having basic knowledge for other database technologies like Oracle, MySQL and PostgreSQL
8. Keeping up to date Software Lifecycle (roadmap) management of database products ;
9. Performs routine installation, re-configuration, backups of database and related products on on-premises and cloud environments.
Requirements
Skill, Knowledge & Experience:
10. The candidate must have a currently active NATO SECRET security clearance
11. Proficient in cloud database solutions such as Azure SQL Database and automation, ensuring efficient and scalable deployments.
12. Expertise in database administration, cloud database management and on-prem, and security best practices.
13. Knowledge of the Microsoft reporting technologies (PowerBI, SSRS, SSIS), Grafana reporting and Automation technologies (Ansible) and sound experience on at least two;
14. Adapt at database migrations from on-prem to cloud,
15. Have an experience for backup and recovery strategies, automation with PowerShell, and CI/CD integration, contributing to robust and secure database infrastructures.
16. Extensive experience of Microsoft SQL Server on ON-Prem and Cloud Environments
17. A good understanding of more advanced architectures on High Availability and Disaster Recovery solutions, like server clustering and virtual infrastructures;
