Product Developer - Beverages

As a Product Developer - Beverages, you will assist in a wide range of lab-based activities supporting the prototyping and sensory evaluation of innovative beverage concepts, including the assessment of new-to-company or new-to-world beverage ingredients. Your contributions will help ensure the efficiency, organization, and safety of lab operations, while enabling impactful experimentation and innovation in the fast-growing flavored no-alcohol beverage space.
Screen and evaluate relevant ingredients in line with defined processes and criteria, documenting findings in a consistent and structured manner within the team’s cloud storage.
Liaise with approved suppliers to obtain the necessary information for product application testing.
Support the preparation and production of beverage prototypes for both internal and external evaluations.
Assist in organizing research pilot brewery trials, including completing safety inductions, submitting trial requests and lab prototype recipes, coordinating ingredient deliveries, aligning trial details with technicians, and attending key trial stages.
Perform physico-chemical analyses of prototypes in accordance with established standard procedures.
Identify, test, and implement new analytical methods, while coordinating and consolidating external analytical testing.
Support the proactive tracking of competitor and adjacent category product (liquid and packaging) launches globally, and ensure sensory data is uploaded into the internal Sensory Database.
Professional Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biotechnology, Laboratory Technology, or a related scientific discipline
~ Fluency in English, both written and spoken; additional language skills (e.g. Spanish) are considered an asset
~ Proficient in standard digital tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Copilot
~ Demonstrated interest in Food, Beverage, Beer, Flavors, Fermentation, and Functional Ingredients is a strong advantage
~2–3 years of relevant professional experience within a food or beverage laboratory environment is considered an asset
~ Effective team player, able to collaborate within a dynamic and project-driven environment
~ Solid understanding of basic laboratory practices and procedures
~ Strong motivation to contribute to innovation across multiple beverage categories
